To enable certain features, Circo may ask for permission to access parts of your device. All permissions are optional in the sense that denying them won’t block you from using Circo — but some features will be limited without them.

Permissions Circo may request

Camera

Required if you want to upload a profile picture or create content. Not needed for watching or gifting.

Microphone

Required for recording video or using interactive audio features.

Contacts

Optional. Lets you invite friends to Circo directly from your phone’s contact list. Circo does not store or share your contacts.

Notifications

Keeps you updated on new content from Studios you follow, replies to your posts, subscription renewals, and gifting activity.

Managing permissions

You can review and adjust Circo’s permissions at any time from your device settings.
1

Open Settings

Go to the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
2

Scroll to Circo

Find Circo in the list of installed apps.
3

Adjust permissions

Toggle Camera, Microphone, Contacts, and Notifications on or off as needed.
If Circo asks for a permission and you deny it, you can grant it later from your device settings. The app will not ask again automatically on most devices.
