Before a fan pays for your content or subscribes to your Studio, they need a reason to. Teasers and Trailers are how you give them that reason. Each serves a different purpose and appears in a different place on the platform.

Teasers

A Teaser is a short, free preview attached to an individual Drop or Video.

• Length: 15 seconds
• Where it appears: Autoplays in the Circo feed as viewers scroll
• Who sees it: Anyone on Circo — including people who have never visited your Studio
• Access: Always free to watch, never behind a paywall

Teasers are your best organic discovery tool. Because they live in the feed and autoplay automatically, they introduce your content to potential fans who haven’t subscribed or paid yet.

What makes a strong Teaser

• Start with impact: Open on the most exciting, emotional, or surprising moment from the video.
• Match the tone: If your content is funny, the teaser should be funny. If it’s educational, give a compelling hook. Mismatch damages trust.
• End on a hook: Leave viewers wanting to see what happens next.
• Attach one to every paid Drop: Without a teaser, new viewers have no way to preview what they’re paying for.

Trailers

A Trailer is a video that sits at the top of your Studio profile, like a dynamic banner.

• Length: Up to 1 minute
• Where it appears: At the top of your Studio profile page
• Who sees it: Anyone who visits your Studio — subscribers, potential subscribers, and casual visitors
• Purpose: Introduces your Studio’s brand, style, and personality

Your Trailer is the first thing a visitor sees when they land on your Studio. Think of it as your elevator pitch in video form.

• A personal greeting that reflects your personality
• Examples of the type of content you create (clips, highlights, behind-the-scenes)
• A clear call to action — tell viewers to subscribe or unlock your content
