If your upload is failing, pausing unexpectedly, or getting stuck, follow these steps to resolve it.

Before you start

Check these basics first:
  • Connection: Use a strong Wi-Fi connection. 4G or higher is recommended if you’re on mobile data.
  • App version: Make sure you’re running the latest version of Circo. Outdated versions can cause upload failures.
  • File format: Circo supports MP4 for video. MOV is also accepted. Other formats may not upload correctly.
Circo uses resumable uploads. If your connection drops or you close the app, your upload pauses automatically and picks up exactly where it left off when you return — no need to restart from scratch.

Tips for a smooth upload

  • Keep the Circo app open and in the foreground while uploading. Switching apps may pause the process.
  • If you switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data during an upload, expect a brief pause before it resumes.
  • Large videos may take additional time to process after the upload completes. You’ll receive an in-app notification when your Drop or video is ready to publish.

If your upload is stuck

1

Restart the app

Close Circo completely and reopen it. Check if your upload resumes from where it left off.
2

Retry the upload

Navigate back to the upload screen and retry. Circo’s resumable upload will continue from the last checkpoint rather than starting over.
3

Check your file

Confirm your video is in MP4 or MOV format. Files in other formats will fail to upload.
4

Contact support

If the problem persists after restarting and retrying, contact the support team. Include a screenshot of any error message you see to help resolve the issue faster.
Do not force-close the app repeatedly during an active upload. This can interrupt the resumable upload session and require a full restart.
